    1912: Original letter (in German) from BOHDAN ZAKLINSKYJ to the editor of a philatelic journal giving detailed descriptions of "National Stamps" issued in Lemberg, Czernowitz and by the Ukrainian Radical party. Thirteen adhesives attached to the letter. The document is fragile but in excellent condition and of considerable historical interest. In addition, we have removed from Dr Zelonka's collection of vignettes 21 examples of the Radical Party labels, in fine condition, including a strip of five with all designs se-tenant and these are included with this lot.

    Large format envelope to which are affixed a set (14) of the unissued "Vienna Issue" of 1920, shown in the Bulat catalogue at page 148. The stamps are tied by official seals and the accompanying handwritten and typed text, dated 11 March 1921, confirms the authenticity of the issue. Seal of the Consular Section of the Ukrainian Legation in Vienna at bottom left. This item has been discussed in the Ukrainian Philatelist, vol 48, No 1, (2000) and illustrated there at page 18, a full translation is also provided.
