    1856/67: Predominantly used collection with 1856 ½ r. blue (14) including three used pairs, 1 r. yellow (30) with five pairs and a strip of four used, 2 r. green with attractive piece showing pair in combination with 1 r. and 29 further examples including a pair; 1861 issue with 1 r. pairs (3) and 2 r. mint block of four. Eagle issue with fine used 8 r. red etc. An interesting lot with much cancellation interest.

    1856/99: Pages from an old Maury album with 1856 set of five unused without overprints (Mepsi certs for 4 r. and 8 r.), 2 r. green used in Tabasco, 4 r. carmine used in Mexico City, 1861 with 4 r. without overprint unused (Mepsi cert.), 8 r. green on red brown unused without overprint (Mepsi cert.), Eagle issue with first period Guadalajara ½ r. brown used, Vera Cruz 8 r. red used, 1866 with 7 c. litho mint and used, 7 c. engraved mint (signed Todd), Guadalajara provisionals, 1867 gothic 4 r. used etc. A good lot.

    1856/72: Group of 18 classic period covers with 1856 2 r. tied 'Jalapa' and another ex 'Mazatlan' in red, cover from Vera Cruz with 1856 1 r. and 2 r., 1861 issue 2 r. cancelled by Diligencias oval, Eagle Issue covers with single 2 r. franking and another with 1 r. and 2 r.; 1868 issue with covers (5), four with 25 c. frankings, 1872/74 issue imperf. and perf. issue covers etc. A fine lot with some impressive cancellations.
