    1917 (Feb 26): War Stamp 1½ d. on 2½ d. deep blue, an unused corner block of six (3 x 2) with Plate Number '5' in margin at top, first stamp (Row 1, stamp 4) showing variety "Missing Stop after STAMP", fresh and very fine, unmounted og. The Surcharge was applied separately - not the 2 mm. gap between STAMP and value on the top row, 4 mm. gap on the second row. Very rare and most attractive Gi = £ 950+.

    1932: Centenary Issue, a glorious hand-painted Essay for the proposed 1 s. value, with central vignette showing King William IV and George V, dated at base 1832-1932, frame painted in shades of green and deep green (Duty Plates and POSTAGE & REVENUE) central vignette in shades of violet and purple, with lettering picked out in Chinese white; in sunken card handstamped "DE LA RUE & Co. LTD. / 110 BUNHILL ROW, E.C. / LONDON" in blue. Manuscript '23.5.32' at top right and 'Jamaica 7343' file number at base.
