    1863: 10 c. blue, a used example with three large margins and just shaved at top, used on 1865 cover to Paris endorsed ‘via Sta. Marta’, tied by ‘Rio Negro’ manuscript despatch cancellation in black ink. Reverse with British P.O. Santa Martha datestamp in black (March 30). Carried on the RMSP Steamer ‘Tamar’ to St. Thomas and thence on the ‘Seine’ to Southampton. The adhesive also tied by framed ‘GB / 1F 60c.’ Anglo-French accountancy marking applied in London (April 28), charged ‘8’ décimes due upon arrival. A fine and rare cover.     1865: 10 c. lilac, a used example with large margins all round, used on 1866 cover to Paris tied by oval framed BOGOTÁ handstamp in black. Reverse with British P.O. Santa Martha datestamp in black (Jan 29). Carried on the RMSP Steamer ‘Solent’ to St. Thomas and thence on the ‘La Plata’ to Southampton. The adhesive also tied by framed ‘GB / 1F 60c.’ Anglo-French accountancy marking applied in London (March 2), charged ‘10’ décimes due upon arrival. A fine and rare cover. Cert. Colomphil (2008).rn

    1877: Liberty 10 c. brown, a fine example used on 1878 cover to Paris tied by oval BOGOTÁ handstamp in black with British P.O. ‘Savanilla / Barranquilla’ cds of transit at left (July 21) and French Consular ‘Savanilla’ cds alongside (Sept 2), struck in black. Octagonal ‘Savanilla / Paq. Fr. A. No. 2’ datestamp in at right. Struck with triangular ‘T’ marking in black and charged ‘12’ décimes handstruck due upon receipt. File fold but a most attractive franking.rn

    1920 (March): 10 c. green, the complete imperforate sheet of 72 subjects (6 x 12), with margins all round, some indentations and a tear at top well away from the designs, of excellent colour and showing the slightly random setting of the four clichés. An extraordinary surviving sheet and most probably now one of very few complete sheets extant. Cert. A. Diena (1974) Scott = $ 4'320+.

    1853/71: Covers/entire letters (9) with most ex Lanman & Kemp correspondence to New York, struck with Forwarding Agent markings of CARLOS MERANO in Cartagena in blue, superb oval JOSE LORENZO ARCE / QUIBDO in blue, 1871 entire with oval W.P.MALL / ASPINWALL cachet in blue, two "double-forwarder" entires via RAMON LEON SANCHEZ in Cartagena in red etc. Condition varies, one or two carried outside the Mails.

    1865/72: Entire letters (6) to France or USA with British P.O. datestamps on reverse of CARTHAGENA, SANTA MARTHA, PANAMA and one with GUAYAQUIL cds, four struck with Accountnacy marking 'GB / 1F 60c.' in black, the Guayaquil cover with 'GB / 2F 87½c.' in black in London; interesting variety of décime rates handstruck on arrival: 8, 10, 12, 16 and 24.
