    1881: 2 c. lake, a fine example used on 10 c. orange postal stationery envelope to Leipzig, tied by "Admon Pral de Correos / Quito Ecuador" cds's in black (Nov 14, 1881) with arrival cds on reverse. Fresh and fine, a scarce usage in the first two weeks of issue of the adhesive.

    1893: Unusual cover to London franked on front by Postal Stationery cut-ous of 1 c. pale brown on blue, 2 c. brown (2) and 1881 5 c. blue on pink; reverse additionally franked by Postal Fiscals1 c. vermilion (4) and 2 c. deep blue (3) all tied by "Guayaquil / UPU" datestamps in blue (June 17). New York transit (June 30) above and London arrival (July 10) in red. Unusual make up of the 20 centavos rate.
