    1918/19: Poltava Trident collection on leaves with Type I represented by 54 stamps used or unused showing violet overprints incl. Imperial 1 k., 7 k. and 35 k. and 5 k. imperf.; Poltava Type I with black opt. (35 stamps) unused or used with 25 k. and 5 r. used signed Bulat and 10 r. imp. signed Bulat; Poltava Type I with green opt. on 20 k. blue & red; Poltava Trident overprint Type II with 14 stamps unused or used. A scarce and highly catalogued group by trident sub-type, most signed by Bulat, Seichter or Vyrovyj.

    1918/19: Podolia Trident collection (600+ stamps) largely formed by A. Epstein of Tallinn (Corinphila sale 177, March 2013), with each of the 51 overprint types illustrated with an expertised stamp (mostly unused) and thereafter with Podolia Type Ia through Type XVId, incl. many scarce face values, mint and used with clear cancels identified; example of commercial cover, Money Transfer form with mixed out-of-district franking, etc. Most stamps signed by Bulat, Seichter, Seefeldner, etc.  A rare group in mostly fine quality Bulat = $14'000+.

A much under-catalogued and extremely rare stamp - just 450 of the normal stamp were overprinted in panes of 25 stamps and thus only 18 stamps can exist with the error. Yellow 'Stanislau 1' registered label at lower left. A remarkable cover with just 60 stamps issued of the 'G' on 5 kr. ultramarine, and only 3 usages on letter recorded.
