The item was sent in Russia as a value letter and a red wax seal 'Kishinev Oblast Potsht. Kont." was added, it contained a remittance and was treated as a registerted letter in Austria.

U13/IIC), paying the double rate to Geneva, Switzerland tied by 'Jelanj-Sagatsch' two line datestamps in black and further tied in transit at Odessa (April 30) in black. Notation at lower left 'avec trois cartes photographiques' explaining the double tariff and reverse with fine strike of despatch datestamp and Geneva arrival (19/5) in black.
