    1867: 3 sk. violet, 4 sk. blue and 8 sk. carmine all used on small registered cover to Scotland with manuscript 'via Hull per Dampfer' erased, tied by THRONDHEIM datestamps (2/9) in black; the 3 sk. additionally tied by scarce oval REGISTERED LONDON / FROM / DENMARK in red (Sept 12). Reverse with 'Sandosund' (6/9) transit cds and Inverkeithing arrival cds. Minor perf. imperfections and slightly dusty but a scarce and appealing franking.
