    Jammu & Kashmir. 1866/1894: Collection in small red album with Kashmir 1866 ½ a. grey-black on native paper fine unused, 1874 1 a. red unused, 1874/76 ½ a. black unused (4), 1 a. bright blue, 1877/78 issue with fine unused representation, Jammu issues from 1868 with 1 a. red (7), ½ a. ultramarine unused (2), 1866/67 issue on laid paper complete set and study of the types and printings; Jammu & Kashmir 1878/80 unused in an extensive range, 1883/94 issue unused and some used, a few Officials and fiscals.     Poonch. 184/87: 1 a. red on blue green batonné paper, a pair and single used on opened for display 1883 registered letter, cancelled by squared obliterator in black, with India 1883 1 a. plum (3) applied in the other corners of the reverse as seals and tied by "Kahuta" quared circle datestamps (May 9). Transit of Ramsai-Hat (May 14) alongside and thence to Jalpaigari, Bengal province. A fine and attractive combination cover. Opinion Holcombe (1993).

The collection in two volumes with large degree of completion in many areas from Alwar to Wadhwan, Bhopal with fine 1889/90 1 a. red on cover and extensive mint range, Bijawar with sets mint and used, Bundi with earlies and 1941 and 1947 sets mint, Bussahir from 1896 issues unused, Charkhari with fine 1930 4 a. carmine in a mint block of 40, Duttia with 1899 issue, Idar with 1944 mint sets, Indore with fine range incl. 1940/46 set mint and block of nine of the 4 a.; Jasdan with 1 a. (6) mint, Kishangarh with 1928 mint sheetlets of ten, Orcha 1935 set mint etc. Generally fine and a highly catalogued collection.
