    1867/1945: Lot ten covers, including 1867 front of cover franked  with 10 k. blue & brown, 5 k. black & lilac, and 3 k. black & green tied by postal wagon cds sent from Moscow to Amsterdam, seven registered covers from 1895/1913 depicting different registration labels, 1926 registered cover sent from Rostov via Moscow by air mail to Göttingen, franked on front with 20 k. green (2), a pair of 10 k. blue and 8k. brown showing a Soviet Air Mail label and two German crimson Air Mail marks alongside, further some Imperial Russia, RSFSR, USSR, Russian Levant & China, Russian civil war areas, Transcaucasia, Ukraine, also a full unused sheet of the 1917 imperforate 1 r. brown & orange (some minor imperfections).

    1848/63: Nice selection of twenty 10 (+1) k. black  double-headed eagle postal stationery with thin tail, imprinted stamp cancelled by pen, dotted numeral marks, cds's, or not at all, used between about 1854 and 1867, nice departure and "received" marks alongside, often with very fine aristrocratic wax seals. A fine lot.
