    Italian Post Offices in Tunisia 1867 (Apr 10): Double rate Entire letter from Tunis to Genova, bearing London printing 1866 10 c. ochre-orange, two horizontal pairs of fresh colour and good perforation, tied in the transit in Cagliari by framed PIROSCAFI POSTALI ITALIANI. The double rate item was franked only for the first rate and therefore taxed with manuscript '8' (décimes). Strikes of framed FRANCOBOLLO INSUFFICIENTE, a CAGLIARI cds (Apr 12) and a "Da Tunisi" handstamp alongside. Reverse with indistinct Genova arrival cds. A rare and attractive cover, cert. E.
