BPA (1993) Gi 140 = £ 2'750 / listed but unpriced used in Constantinople.rnrnNote: The Karl Louis Card Index records just three off cover used examples of this stamp used with 'C' obliterator, the Yates example (1940), the Trivett (1924) then Glassco (1969) example and the 'Besançon' example offered here. This famous error was discovered by an American collector in early 1893. He was at first disbelieved, however when A.B. Creeke examined the Plate 2 imprimatur sheet, he confirmed the existence of the flaw in October 1893.Ausruf : 750 CHFZuschlag : 1.200 CHFLosnr. : 194 Brit. Post in der Türkei
