    Zacatecas 1856: ½ r. pale blue, a horizontal pair in a delicate shade, large margins all round and showing the marginal rule at right, diagonal plate scratch below the right hand stamp, cancelled by NIEVES straight line handstamp in black (Schatzkes fig. 1894). One or two ironed bends but a charming pair. Signed W.E. Shelton.
