    Spanish Currency 1895: De La Rue page from the Appendix Book, in two halves for display, dated in manuscript at top "March 21st, 1895" with previously issued values of 5 cs. green, 10 cs. carmine, 25 cs. ultramarine, 40 cs. orange-brown, 50 cs. bright lilac and 1 p. bistre all perforated as issued, with proposed additions of 20 cs. in maroon (two examples) both imperforate with hand-painted Duty Plates, 1 peseta bistre imperforate (3) with Duty Plates printed in black, violet and the chosen colour of ultramarine; 2 peseta values imperforate in blue-grey (2) each with hand-painted Duty Plate in blue-grey and three additional 2 p. in black imperforate with printed Duty Plates in violet, carmine and ultramarine; together with De La Rue dummy stamps (4) in varying colours for comparison. Illustrated in 'The De La Rue Collection' edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 3259. Signed off in red ink at base dated "23.3.95"; the chosen new values were both numbered "4" and accepted on April 4, 1893.
