    1847: Embossed 1 s. pale green, Die 2, a single example with large to just touched margins, used with two examples of 1855/56 1 d. red-brown on blued, perf. 14 on 1856 registered under ½ ounce cover (8 d. + 6 d. registration) from Dundee, Scotland to Rostock, Mecklenburg-Schwerin via Belgium, tied by '114' numeral obliterators in black. Dundee cds on reverse (Oct 3) in black, obverse with red 'Crown / Registered' and oval framed REGISTERED / G.P.O. datestamp (Oct 4) in black. Thence via Aachen with 'Hagenow-Rostock' cds on reverse. Minor cover creases away from the adhesives, a fine cover to a most unusual destination.
