    1841: 1 d. red-brown on lightly blued paper, Plate 19, lettered GH, a used example with three large margins and touched at top, on 1842 entire letter from Great Heywood to Newcastle-Under-Lyme, tied by bold characteristic double strike of the Maltese Cross struck in red applied at Rugely. Reverse with 'Great Hywood' undated circular handstamp, Rugely circular datestamp (June 21) and Newcastle-Under-Lyme arrival cds of the following day. An exceptional and very rare usage. Cert.
