    1840: Mulready 1 d. black letter-sheet, stereo A251, used from London to Ashford, Kent in 1843 with rare "List of Articles Manufactured by / John Besemeres & Sons, / Wholesale & Retail Clothiers, Outfitters & Warehousemen" advertisement inside (Gi MA80b), cancelled by crisp strike of the London No. 8 in Maltese Cross in black. Reverse with London despatch datestamp (Apr 28) and Ashford double arc arrival (Apr 29) in black.
