    1868: 1 d.blue, perf. 14, three examples, one with closed tear at top, used with 1867/70 10 d. orange on 1870 cover from Colombo to Linlithgow, Scotland endorsed 'via Marseilles', tied by manuscript pen crosss and by Colombo duplexes in black (June 11). Reverse with Linlithgow arrival cds (July 11). The stamps lifted and replaced with ironed creases but nevertheless an attractive and scarce usage. Cert. RPSL (2002).
