    1861/64: 1 s. slate-violet, rough perf. 14 to 15½, single example used with 1868 1 d. blue, perf. 14 on 1869 cover from Colombo to Axminster, UK endorsed 'via Marseilles' tied by both the oval barred obliterator and by the "A" obliterator with COLOMBO despatch cds also tying the 1 s. adhesive (Jan 11). Reverse with Axminster arrival cds (Feb 8) in black. Flap missing and slightly soiled but a scarce mixed issue franking.
